I was born and raised in Switzerland where I studied Art History, Ethnology, and English at the University of Basel. At the age of 24 I moved to Northern Germany and for several years enjoyed living on an 800 year-old farm where I taught Yoga, grew vegetables, and enjoyed the close connection to earth.
Moving to Arizona was the beginning of a new chapter. Here I learned jewelry making and worked for several years in that field. During the process of getting a BFA in Metal Smithing and Jewelry Making, the Jewelry Department at NAU closed. Having fallen in love with clay during the course of my studies, I switched my major to Ceramics, a decision that I never regretted.
I received a BFA in Ceramics from Northern Arizona University in spring of 2015. My work has been shown in multiple shows.
Besides working in my studios in McCall and Sedona, Arizona, I enjoy outdoor activities, knitting, baking, and spending time with my husband and our two cats.
