Jingdezhen, China

From October 18 to November 29, 2016,  I spent six weeks in an artist residency in Jingdezhen, China. I loved everything about it: the culture, the endless possibilities to create work, the other artists who were there with me, and the Chinese assistants and craftsmen. You can find additional photos and two posts under my blog on this website.

All of these pieces are made from beautifuly white Chinese porcelain, reduction fired to cone 10 to 12 in the public gas kiln. Although most of it was made with possible installations in mind, the pieces stand on their own.
